Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses; prescribe medications per CNO standards
  • Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and allied health professionals
  • Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of patient records
  • Deliver direct primary care in a range of healthcare environments
  • Follow all facility protocols and the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) regulations
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) – Extended Class (NP-Primary Health Care or NP-Adult)
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MN-NP or MScN)
  • Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in clinical settings
  • Strong diagnostic and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and night shifts
  • Up-to-date immunization records (MMRV) and TB screening
  • Valid N95 Mask Fit Test certification
